The platform

One contract, every layer of your IT.

Most firms stitch together a helpdesk, a phone system, an antivirus reseller and a backup invoice. We run all of it as one service, measured against one SLA, on one bill.

Core service

A service desk that answers, every time

Phone, email or portal — all three reach the same engineers, 24 hours a day. Average hold time last quarter: 28 seconds. No scripted first-line reading from a card.

Cloud & migration

We move what should move and retire what should not exist. Two of our last six migrations finished a fortnight early; the other four finished on the agreed day.

Backup you can actually restore

3-2-1 backups, immutable copies in two UK regions, and a full restore test every quarter with the results emailed to you — evidence, not reassurance.

Connectivity, Wi-Fi and phones

Leased lines, managed Wi-Fi that holds up in a full meeting room, and a cloud phone system with call recording that satisfies your insurer.

Joining and leaving, handled in minutes

Starter and leaver processes that run themselves, so a new colleague is productive on day one and a leaver loses access within 15 minutes.

  • Onboarding

Device imaged, accounts created, licence assigned, mailbox and Teams ready, security induction completed.

  • Offboarding

Sessions revoked, device wiped and returned, data handed to the line manager, mailbox archived per your retention policy.

How we work

The first 90 days, in order.

No big-bang cutover, no fortnight of silence. We audit before we touch anything, and you keep the audit whether or not you sign the contract.

  1. Discovery & audit Week 1

Every device, account, licence and line catalogued. You receive a written risk register rated by likelihood and impact, plus a licence reclaim report — most firms are paying for 8–14% more licences than they need.

  2. Stabilise Weeks 2–4

Patch gaps closed, MFA pushed to every account that can hold it, backup jobs proved by a live restore rather than a green tick. The things that fail at 2am get fixed first.

  3. Migrate & modernise Weeks 5–10

Workloads moved to Azure or Microsoft 365 in planned evening windows, with a documented roll-back path for each one. Legacy servers retired and decommissioned with certificates of disposal.

  4. Run & improve Month 3 onward

24/7 desk, a named account engineer, a quarterly business review with real numbers, and a rolling 12-month roadmap tied to your headcount plan.

Security

Security is a routine, not a product you buy.

Fourteen UK SMEs in our client base were hit by a phishing-led breach in the last two years. All fourteen were running antivirus, a firewall and a backup. None of them had a routine. Here is ours.

  • MFA on every account — app or hardware key, no exceptions for directors
  • EDR with human triage on every endpoint and server, 24/7
  • Immutable backups, tested by quarterly full restore
  • Critical patches within 72 hours; everything else within 7 days
  • Monthly phishing simulation with per-team reporting
  • Documented offboarding: access revoked inside 15 minutes

The incident ladder

Every issue is graded the moment it lands. You can see the grade and the clock in the client portal.

Incident severity levels with response and onsite targets
Grade Example Response Onsite
P1 Critical Ransomware, or the whole site is offline 15 minutes 4 hours
P2 High Core system degraded, team can't work 1 hour Next working day
P3 Standard One person blocked, workaround not obvious 4 hours Scheduled
P4 Request New starter, change, project work Next business day As agreed

The Nexis support and engineering team in the Leeds office
31 people in Leeds: engineers, architects, service desk and security operations.

Priya Raghavan

Operations Director, Farrar & Sons — 180 staff, Bradford

"We swapped three suppliers for Nexis and the morning ticket queue stopped being a routine. Their engineer knows our stock system better than the vendor who wrote it. Migration to Azure finished two weeks early."

Tom Okafor

Finance Manager, Kestrel Legal — 34 seats, Leeds

"Phishing attempts still arrive, but nobody clicks. Two people fell for the first simulation, none in the last six. For a firm holding client funds that is the whole ball game."

Helen Boyd

Head of Property, Meadowbrook Housing — 420 seats, Wakefield

"A storage controller failed at 02:40 on a Sunday. We were back online by 03:15 on the failover pair. Nobody in the office noticed until Monday morning, which is exactly how it should be."

Pricing

Per user, per month. No surprise invoices.

Hardware, licences and projects are quoted separately and always in writing first. Onboarding is a fixed £1,200 for up to 40 seats, including the audit.
