What we do

Everything a company needs, and nothing it doesn't.

Eight services, one team, one fee. If something is outside our scope we will tell you at the first meeting rather than the third invoice.

01

Accounts & compliance

Statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and Companies House filings — prepared, checked by a partner, and filed early. We work straight out of Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, or from your spreadsheets if that is where you are.

from £1,150per year

02

Self-assessment

For directors, landlords and sole traders. We collect the paperwork, chase the missing figures, and file before the January rush. Every return comes with a two-page explanation of what changed and why.

from £295per return

03

Corporation tax planning

Salary against dividends, associated companies, capital allowances and the 25% rate boundary. We model two or three versions of the year before it closes, not after.

from £780per year

04

R&D and creative relief

Claims prepared to HMRC's new merged-scheme rules, with the technical narrative written properly the first time. We have never had a claim rejected.

from £2,400per claim

05

Payroll & pensions

PAYE, auto-enrolment, payslips by email and a real person on the phone when an employee's tax code has gone strange. RTI filed the same day you pay.

£4.50per payslip, per month

06

VAT

Returns, partial exemption, the flat-rate scheme, and Making Tax Digital software set up properly — including the domestic reverse charge for construction clients.

from £380per quarter

07

Business advisory

Management accounts, cash-flow forecasts and a quarterly hour with your partner where we talk about price, margin and staffing instead of bookkeeping.

from £260per month

08

Company formation & exit

Incorporation, share structures between families, group restructures, and the honest version of what a sale will be worth before you start the process.

from £480per structure

Sectors

The same rules, read very differently.

Startups & tech

SEIS and EIS applications, EMI option schemes, and accounts that a future investor will not have to unpick. We have taken 210 Bristol companies from first invoice to first term sheet.

  • SEIS/EIS advance assurance, usually inside three weeks
  • EMI scheme design and HMRC valuation paperwork
  • R&D claims written with your engineers, not about them
  • Investor-ready management accounts on a monthly cadence

In their words

Clients who have stayed a decade.

“They took over a mess of six years of un-filed accounts and had us straight inside one quarter. Now I get a call before I get a problem, which is not something I expected from an accountant.”

The team

Four partners, and you will know all of them.

No call centres, no account managers. The person who did your work last year is the person who does it this year.

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax: what sole traders must do before April 2027

Quarterly reporting arrives for anyone over £50,000 of turnover next April, and for £30,000 the year after. Here is the three-month plan we are running with our sole trader clients.

Associated companies and the 25% rate: the trap in the detail

Two companies under common control means the thresholds are shared, not doubled. We run through the ownership tests that catch family companies out.

Buying commercial premises through a SSAS or SIPP

Pension-funded property purchases are still possible, but the rules tightened again this spring. What a Bristol landlord should check before instructing solicitors.

Quoted before we start. Never a surprise.

These are our 2026/27 starting fees, agreed in writing at the first meeting. If a job takes longer than we expected, that is our problem to explain, not yours to pay for quietly.

All figures exclude VAT at 20%. Payment by monthly direct debit at no extra cost.
