How it works

Four steps from worried to clear.

We built Clearview around the parts of private healthcare that usually frustrate people: the waiting, the jargon, and never seeing the same face twice.

A Clearview GP talking a patient through their results in a consulting room
  1. Book in ninety seconds

Use the booking card above, or call reception between 08:00 and 20:00. You will get a named clinician, a time, and a text confirmation the same day.

  2. Be seen properly

Forty minutes as standard. Your GP takes a full history rather than a three-line summary, examines you, and books any tests before you leave the room.

  3. Tests and results, explained

Most bloods are reported within 48 hours and the same doctor rings you with them — what the numbers mean, what is normal for you, and what happens next.

  4. Continuity, not a conveyor belt

You keep the same clinician for follow-ups, and if you need a consultant we refer into our network at Bromley, London Bridge and Tunbridge Wells — usually within a week.

The people you will see

A Clearview Clinic GP in conversation with a patient during a consultation

★★★★★

“I had a mole checked on a Tuesday and removed the following Monday. Dr Hart rang me herself with the histology, which I did not expect from a private clinic. Worth every penny.”

Rachel M. · Shortlands, Bromley

★★★★★

“Forty minutes, not ten. Dr Rahman went through my father's bloods line by line and wrote everything down so we could take it to the cardiologist. That level of care is rare.”

Anil P. · Beckenham, Kent

★★★★★

“Booked through Bupa with no fuss at all, seen in two days, and the shoulder pain I had carried for a year was properly diagnosed in one session.”

Deborah K. · Chislehurst, Kent

Questions

Everything patients ask us first.

Still stuck? Reception answers the phone in person between 08:00 and 20:00, and our inbox is read hourly on weekdays.

020 8460 2210 Email us

Do I need a referral from my NHS GP?

No. Around two thirds of the people we see book directly without telling anyone else. If you are registered with an NHS practice we can write to them afterwards so your records stay joined up.

Can I use my private health insurance?

Yes. We are recognised by Bupa, AXA Health, Vitality, Aviva, WPA, Simplyhealth, Cigna and Healix, and we bill most of them directly. Please bring your membership number and — for anything beyond a GP consultation — a pre-authorisation code.

How quickly can I be seen?

Ninety-four per cent of appointment requests made before 16:00 are offered a slot within 24 hours, and we hold two emergency GP slots back each weekday for genuinely urgent problems. Ring reception if you need to be seen today.

What happens if I need a specialist?

We refer into a network of consultants at Bromley, London Bridge and Tunbridge Wells, and we will send your notes, imaging and bloods ahead of you. Most patients are seen by a consultant within seven days.

Can you prescribe medication?

Yes — our GPs hold full prescribing rights in the UK. Private prescriptions are sent electronically to any pharmacy you nominate, usually within thirty minutes of your appointment ending.

Do you see children?

We do, from six weeks old upwards. Children under 16 must be brought by a parent or legal guardian. Vaccinations follow the UK schedule, with catch-up programmes available.

Is there parking, and is the clinic accessible?

There are nine free patient bays at the rear of 11 Elmfield Road for up to ninety minutes, and Bromley South station is a six-minute walk. The building has step-free access, a lift to all three floors and accessible consulting rooms and toilets.
